Melissa virus : Outlook address books in threat

Worms another threat to computer industry gave the macros a real bad name. Melissa is again gaining status. At first sight, it seems as harmless and expression of pure love – Indeed a hacker love tool. The host Word file allegedly contained information for an assortment of adult-entertainment sites, but the payload is a macro. The poisonous macro looked into Outlook's address book and sends itself to names and email addresses it found there. It usually comes from e-mail from familiar person or email address.

Microsoft is offering $250,000 for the arrest of whoever's responsible for Conficker.
